So most people might not be aware but a non-female has already won an Olympic gold medal in women’s sports. The individual’s name is Quinn and Quinn is out transgender non-binary and thus not a female. So while the world was focused on Lia Thomas they oddly didn’t realize the gender barrier had already been broken when Quinn became the first out transgender athlete to compete at the Olympics and win a gold medal.

Htf did this fly under the radar?? Maybe it had to do with Covid and Americans didn’t pay attention to this past Olympics as it was delayed into 2021?? So Quinn won a gold medal in the 2020 Olympics in 2021 which I guess is confusing? But the fact is months before Lia Thomas started competing in women’s college swim competitions in January 2022 a trans athlete had already won arguably the highest honor an athlete can receive—an Olympic gold medal.
So if a trans athlete won an Olympic gold medal wtf are Americans waging a culture war over this issue?? Waging war over an issue in which an Olympic gold medal has already been awarded to a trans athlete seems like closing the barn door after the horse got out!?! Does the fact Lia Thomas was still in college made a big difference?? Hundreds of American college student-athletes actually compete in the Olympics and so there is a big crossover between college sports and Olympic sports especially with respect to women’s sports. And for most female college athletes their goal is winning NCAA championships and making Olympic teams. So the fact this individual was allowed to compete in the Olympics in the women’s division should have been big news in America.
So how does an individual that is not a woman gain eligibility to play women’s sports? If one really thinks about it it actually makes more sense for Lia Thomas to play in women’s sports because Lia is actually a woman! Quinn isn’t a woman and doesn’t claim to be a woman…and yet she was eligible to play women’s sports and Fox News just ignored it and allowed the International Olympic Committee just destroy women’s sports?? Wtf?? How does something so important fly under the radar while a few months later a less important event takes place and outrage ensues?? I liken it to Jackie Robinson batting leadoff for the Dodgers on Opening Day in 1947 and everyone just ignores it and then for some reason people begin to have a problem with the second African American athlete to play MLB. So none of it makes any sense so far.
Now to all the Fox News viewers I urge you to read this entire post before protesting because what I tell you next will outrage you—Quinn currently plays in the National Women’s Soccer League for the Seattle OL Reign right here in America!! That’s correct, the top women’s soccer league in America currently has a player that is not a woman!! How has Fox News not covered that a non female trans athlete is playing professional women’s sports in America!?! Wtf??? How does this culture war rage when a non female is already playing professionally in a women’s league??? Why should anyone even care about Lia Thomas when Quinn is essentially Jackie Robinson and has broken the gender barrier??
So the next question readers should ask is how does non female individual even qualify to play in women’s sports and why doesn’t this individual play in the men’s league which in America women are free to play in men’s sports with the premier college football conference, SEC, already had a female player play in an actual game?? This individual played college soccer at Duke and in college this individual wasn’t out and so this individual identified as female prior to coming out in 2020. So even though this individual identifies as trans growing up this individual identified as a girl and played girls soccer. So did the fact this individual played women’s college soccer make her eligible for the Olympics? Here is how the woke BBC https://www.bbc.com/sport/olympics/58061475.ampexplains it,
The 25-year-old remains eligible to compete in women's sport despite identifying as transgender because gender identity differs from a person's sex - their physical biology.
Most people, unless they're non-binary, have a gender identity of male or female.
Quinn was assigned female at birth but after many years of questioning themselves, realised their own gender identity did not match their sex.
Well if that isn’t the most outrageo…wait a second, the IOC simply looked at her birth certificate and because her sex at birth was female then that made her eligible?!? Holy shit! I actually agree with that! In fact, that seems like a very good standard for all trans athletes!! Just look at their birth certificates and go with that their sex at birth. Wow, under that standard I have no problem allowing trans athletes compete in women’s sports! And the fact men’s sports is an open division for everyone else means nobody is excluded from competing in sports. So everyone born a female at birth is eligible to compete in women’s sports just as the Jackie Robinson of trans athletes has been doing for several years and excelling just as Jackie Robinson did!
So let’s check out Lia Thomas’ case. She apparently was born a male and competed in the men’s division even into college. So under the Quinn standard she would not be eligible to compete in women’s sports because on her birth certificate she was born a male. But we’ve already established that a female kicker, Sarah Fuller, competed in the premier sport of the premier conference in college sports…and so if a female can compete in SEC football then females are capable of competing in any other men’s sport in college. So although Lia Thomas shouldn’t be allowed to compete in women’s swimming she could continue competing in men’s swimming just like Sarah Fuller competed against men in football. So there is nothing exclusionary about some females having to compete against males in college because they still get to compete in college athletics. And keep in mind college athletics is inherently exclusionary because athletes must compete for spots on teams and no one is entitled to a spot on a college team (unless one’s parents are Hollywood stars that pay good money to get their kids on the crew team!). So athletics will never be inclusive because some people are born disabled and some become disabled and then competing in athletics is impossible.
P.S. I will call anybody by whatever name they wish to be called and I will never intentionally misgender anyone and I don’t even use the term “guys” when referring to a group of people because it isn’t inclusive enough preferring the term “y’all”…but I will not use they/them pronouns to refer to an individual.
Update: Biden’s Title IX rule threads the needle perfectly. So I do believe trans kids like the one that wants to run cross country for her junior high team should be allowed to run on the girls’ team because it doesn’t prevent another girl from running due to facility limitations and in cross country I don’t think a biological boy would have a physical advantage. Americans should want kids to develop healthy habits and jogging is considered a healthy habit that we should promote. I believe Biden’s Title IX rule protects girls’ high school varsity sports and women’s NCAA scholarship sports by preventing biological males from competing in them as biological males will almost always have a competitive advantage in every sport except possibly certain gymnastic events. This looks like a big win for common sense and a huge loss for the culture warriors on both sides of the issue as for the time being it is no longer a federal issue.
You would agree with looking at the birth certificate to determine what group one should compete? How is that similar to Biden's Title IX?
